Xternity Raises $4.5M From Reputable Venture Capital Firms

According to the official statement shared by the Xternity team, its latest funding round has been successfully completed. A total of $4,500,000 was raised by a group of highly reputable venture capitalists.

Web3 investing heavyweight NFX led the round, while Jibe Ventures, Flori Ventures, Secret Chords and Vgames also backed the startup in its fundraising efforts.

Sagi Maman, CEO and co-founder of Xternity, is excited about the significance of the latest fundraising and is confident that the fresh money will fuel the next phases of platform progression:

Xternity continuously strives to define and build a long-term solution with valuable user utility. We believe that mass adoption of Web3 is only possible with a simple, secure and scalable technology based on a sustainable engagement economy.

The Xternity platform is designed to power the next generation of decentralized applications (dApps) with cutting-edge GameFi and metaverse design, as well as integrated wallets, API toolkits, and more.

Open beta testing kicks off on Polygon, Solana, Immutable X and Celo

Gigi Levy Weiss, General Partner of NFX, appreciates the vision of the Xternity team and the progress they have managed to achieve by Q4 2022:

The founders of Xternity use their unique insights into game monetization and scalable platforms to create the ultimate web3 ecosystem for games. By understanding game developers’ needs for scalable infrastructure and sustainable business models, they were able to create a seamless solution that securely integrates Web2 to Web3 games, and the current framework is just the first step.

As the strategic fundraising is completed, the platform unveils its open beta version for public testing. The initial release includes a multi-chain API interface, a customizable cryptocurrency wallet, a highly scalable NFT platform, and a state-of-the-art Web3 CRM tool.

Currently, the open beta invites all developers to test its elements on major blockchains for Web3 games, including Polygon, ImmutableX, Solana, and Celo.
