International NFT gaming marketplace Jump.trade sold 55,000 Meta Cricket League (MCL) NFTs in nine minutes, which went live on April 22, 2022. Priced at $25 each, the NFTs were designed on multiple algorithmically designed drop packs namely metaverse cricket team players. NFTs and digital NFTs signed by legends.
According to the press release released by the company, gamers can use their NFTs to monetize their game, unlock incentives, and gain real utility for their digital assets. They can also collect playable and signed collectibles from legends, upgrade NFTs to improve in-game performance and increase market value appreciation, or rent out their NFTs to other players. Meta Cricket League is a new NFT and AI driven play-to-win game that allows players to earn cash prizes and other rewards over time. “We expect zero gas fees and cricket NFTs for the fusion between offline gaming and Web3.0. Our Layer 2 helps transaction speed and enables an interoperable blockchain protocol. Therefore , we expect market participation for current and future NFTs,” Kameshwaran Elangovan, Co-Founder and COO, GuardianLink, mentioned.
Jump.trade will also be releasing collectible NFTs for Chelsea fans, presented by the British collector Chelsea. They will include tickets, match programs, menus and signed postcards/photographs spanning the entire history of the club, from 1905 to the recent past.
The collection is brought in collaboration with A-Star Foundation, a London-based charity that promotes the progression of young people, through the help of industry professionals and mentors. They offer programs and initiatives that provide opportunities to educate young people about preventing crimes with guns and knives and other antisocial behaviors.
